Carter & Emmett Lefkowitz (& David Lefkowitz)

Carter Lefkowitz (5) works out of his home studio in a wide range of materials, with an emphasis on drawing.  His primary interests at the moment are U.S. geography, license plates, and Field Guides of animals, plants, and weather.

Emmett Lefkowitz  (8) attends 3rd grade at Prairie Creek Community School in Castle Rock MN. He works in a range of media that include drawing, painting, lego, sculpy, and finger knitting. He particularly enjoys creating and drawing aliens and super-beings. Emmett likes cheese.

David Lefkowitz (46) is a visual artist and Associate Professor of Art at Carleton College. His work in painting, mixed media and installation addresses the blurry boundary between the human-built environment and the natural world.

Recent exhibits include solo shows in New York, Chicago, and Minneapolis, and his work is represented in collections around the world including the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, the Langen Foundation in Neuss, Germany, and the Miami Art Museum in Miami FL.
